CANCELLED - DIY Halloween Costume Workshop

CANCELLED - DIY Halloween Costume Workshop In-Person

Have you ever wanted to create your own Halloween costume but don't know where to start or don't have the tools and materials?

Stop by the Library's Hive Makerspace to talk with staff and other patrons about potential ideas. Learn about the tools in the Makerspace including the Cricut cutting machine and the sewing machine. Patrons with a costume in progress can bring it in to work on, and patrons who aren't sure what they want to make can attend the class for instruction and ideas, then use the Hive Makerspace during any regular hours afterward. The Hive has many materials available for use including fabric, buttons, thread and more! There will be a demonstration of how to use the Cricut and heat press with iron-on vinyl.

Ages 13 and up.
