Qigong at the Library

Qigong at the Library In-Person

Qigong exercise has psychological and physical components and involves the regulation of the mind, breath, and body's movement and posture.

Put on your comfortable clothes and sneakers, and come out to our weekly Qigong practice. This program will be held in the library’s community room.

Qigong has been practiced for hundreds of years and is particularly helpful for dealing with stress, limited ability to move, those wishing to developing better balance and flexibility and can be practiced by nearly everyone young and old. Qigong can be modified to allow participants to be seated.

Anna Wong, our Assistant Director who has been a practitioner of Qigong, Tai Chi, Tai Chi Fan and mindful movement for decades will be our guide in this ancient Asian practice that teaches breathing, mindfulness and movement.

This weekly class is open to all, but registration is required: email awong@cldandj.org, or call the library at 315-446-3578.

Ages 18 and up.
