Intro to Sewing: Start with the Basics! In-Person
Learn the basics of sewing by hand with in-person instruction!
Join Adult Services Librarian Kelly for a sewing class for beginners. Learn methods for threading a needle, how to tie a knot, and 3 starter stitches. Materials will be provided for practicing stitches. Learning sewing basics will give you the skills needed for many purposes- from fixing holes in your clothes, to creating embroidery!
*Note that there is a sewing machine available for patron use in the Hive Makerspace, but this class will not include instruction on its use.*
Ages 13 and up.
