Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) and Mindfulness In-Person

Join Jia Man, Adjunct Professor of Japanese and Chinese & Asian Culture Dept. of World Language, Literature & Culture LeMoyne College for a workshop on Ikebana.

Jia Man will introduce the basic principles, history, and philosophy of Ikebana in an easy-to-understand way and explore different Ikebana styles. In addition to learning techniques of Ikebana, the workshop will focus on mindfulness and relaxation. Participants will be encouraged to approach their arrangement with a sense of calm and peace. Participants will Not be taking home their completed arrangement but may take photos.

Ages 8 and up.
