Page Turners Book Club Harlem Rhapsody

Page Turners Book Club Harlem Rhapsody In-Person

Join us and discuss diverse reads by contemporary adult authors! This month we discuss Harlem Rhapsody by Victoria Christopher Murray.

Page Turners Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm. This book club primarily reads contemporary adult fiction books by a diversity of authors. We currently meet in-person and via Zoom. Physical copies of the current title for discussion are available to check out at the Library's Front Desk. New members are always welcome!

Harlem Rhapsody tells of the center of the Harlem Renaissance. The new literary editor of The Crisis, Jessie Redmon Fauset, discovered writers such as Langston Hughes and Countee Cullen. Her boss at the top black magazine, W.E.B. DuBois is also her lover, despite his marital status and their age difference.
