Local Author: Compounds, Kings, & Cake In-Person

Join local author Joseph Godlewski for a lively, illustrated talk on his award-winning book The Architecture of the Bight of Biafra: Spatial Entanglements.

He will show how compounds, masquerades, and prefabricated houses in coastal southeastern Nigeria tell five centuries of stories about life, ritual, and trade along the Atlantic coast. A brief Q&A will follow, and cake will be served!

All ages.
